First Thursday of each month at 4pm
Third Thursday of each month at 8am
April - October
Come join us on the trails for an easy-moderate hike and a relaxing, guided meditation in nature. Soothe your nervous system and ground into the healing powers of the earth with a guided sensory-meditation and sound-healing experience aimed at helping you connect with the earth and melting away stress. We will hike for about an hour at an agreeable pace for the group, then stop in a secluded spot for our meditation which will include a combination of sensory activation, chimes and/or drumming. There will be some time to explore the area before heading back to the trailhead refreshed and relaxed!

Guide:
Your guide for this trip will be Traci Mohl. Traci grew up fostering a deep love for every aspect of the outdoors while exploring the forests and creeks of eastern Pennsylvania. She made her love for the outdoors into her career in 2015, guiding trips all over the east coast including canoeing, climbing and hiking. Her favorite trails have a diversity of terrain and flora, and you better believe there’s a vista or waterfall somewhere! She loves to take her time on hikes to observe the environment on the trail, enjoy good food and look for toads. When she’s not traversing trails in the Asheville area, you can find her climbing, paddling, reading a good fantasy novel or participating in combat demonstrations with her Viking-age reenactment society.
Hikes may occasionally be guided by Melissa Gibson or Tanner Miller. You can learn more about them on our About page.
