The Appalachian Trail Conservancy has declared September 28, 2019 to be Family Hiking Day, and we're joining in the celebration! We all know how important it is to explore nature with your loved ones. Whether its introducing kids to the outdoors, enjoying a workout with your partner, or trying something new with your closest friends (they're like family, right!), nature has a way of tieing us all together.
How We're Celebrating
Between September 23, 2019 and September 29, 2019, we're giving away a gift card to our retail shop to anyone who books a private trip for their family!
- Book a day hike (half day hike or full day hike) and receive a $15 gift card
- Book an overnight trip (backpacking trip or slackpacking trip) and receive a $50 gift card
Who Qualifies
There are a million ways to define a family, and we're celebrating them all! To receive the promotion, please use code FAMILY HIKING DAY in the Special Instructions section of your booking (or mention it to us if you're booking over the phone). Qualifying hikes include private half day hikes, private full day hikes, and private backpacking trips. Booking 2 or more spots on a group overnight trip also qualifies.
Fine Print
Hikes can be scheduled for 2019 or 2020. The date must be set when booking is completed.
Gift Cards will be delivered by the guide at the start of the hike, and do not have an expiration date. Gift cards can be mailed by request. They can be used in our retail store only. They cannot be used on our website or to book trips.
